A short sampler video of music selections from Tom Leighton’s latest CD “Leighton Life”, featuring some romantically evocative music, some toe tapping, some jazzy and some, like Tom himself, a little zany. Featuring visuals by noted artist Graham Metson, this video shows the eclectic mix that is “Leighton Life”, an album perfect for film soundtracks, background audio and commercial production. This album along with “Leighton Tendencies” can be downloaded from iTunes.
On Feb 3rd/18 Tom had the honour of sharing the stage with the world renowned Amadeus Choir along with Anne Lederman. Here we sing the Robbie Burns classic “Green Grow the Rashes”. Wait til the choir kicks in for the chorus. Spine-tingling for me. Thank you to the Amadeus organization for giving me this thrilling opportunity.
Nothing captures the excitement and versatility of this dynamic duo as much as this classic tune. The boys were really kicking ass and the audience was on for a wild ride. For more information go to www.tomleighton.ca or www.haines-leighton.com.
The astonishing Tom Leighton tickles the ivories on this jazzy rendition of Harry Stone and Jack Stapp’s classic “Chattanooga Shoe Shine Boy”. Featuring Conrad Kipping with Robert Keyes on far right sitting in, the boys really raised the roof off of the Barley Pub at Waring House, Picton, Feb 1st 2020.
Tom Leighton plays a killer piano and accordion solo with Mark Haines on “A Lot Like Me” at Hughes Room, Toronto 2011. Nobody does it like Tom Leighton!
